Getting to know me more...

I began my photography business in September of 2021. BEST. DECISION. EVER.

I started doing photography within 3 months of me filing for divorce. It was a very difficult decision for me to make and especially hard, thinking about how I would financially keep myself and my son stable.

It was a mental battle.
I didn’t think I was good enough to begin a business on my own.
I didn’t think I could be a single mom and still be loved by God after tearing my family apart.
I didn’t think I’d ever find love.
I had no college degree in business ownership, website design, and more importantly, knowing where to begin when it came to photography. 

Who knew, that in 3 short years, I’d be successful enough to be a “stay at home” mama, be so booked that I need to turn down other job offers, and that I’d now be married to my better half! And even better, that I am still doing what I absolutely love doing! 

I am overjoyed, flattered, and emotional thinking about all the support, love, and reassurance I have received from many people, including my close family who have been there every step of the way and have loved me through all my decisions no matter what they were. 

Being able to take a look at my past, shows me that even when it’s hard and you just want to give up, don’t. Keep going. It will be worth it! 

OKAY, enough of the sappy stuff!!!.....

I have photographed over 200 weddings, captured babies being born, proposals, and lots of laughs and even tears. 

One of the first things you'll notice about me is that I am SHORT, but I'm not afraid to stand on a chair on lay on the ground, for the perfect angle! 

I've always been more of an organized & detail oriented person (to the point of having different colored highlighters for different lists for other lists, LOL)

I am a follower of Jesus and have been a woman of God since I was young!

My husband and I found our way to each other, via Snapchat LOL but our love story is very eventful. We also have a gentle and kindhearted little boy who has a huge personality! 

I grew up in the country, and in my opinion, the best location to grow up in! There is just something about riding horses, racing dirt bikes, and being surrounded by nature, that makes you feel alive!  

I love working with all types of couples & families, because it's not just about getting to know new people, or experience things they enjoy but wholeheartedly, end up becoming a friend and someone they can trust. It's not just being their photographer; it's the extra steps to get to TRULY know them. I believe in capturing natural candid moments that tell your story without using words.
