[◉¯] Photos are more than smiles and the images themselves. They capture memories, the emotions, and the shear love from them! With that being said, I strive to take control but approach it gently, so everyone enjoys the moments. I have always had a passion for capturing the wonderful and natural beauty of the world. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for story telling, I combine elements of authenticity, emotional range, and beauty. My goal when working with clients is to not capture the staged smiles and memories, but the true warm and happy natural glow of that special moment in time. My favorite images to capture, are the in between moments and details that capture the fullness of the moment in a way that the viewer feels the moment. I am a roll with the punches type of person and a lot of that flows into my work. I love chunky baby thighs and how kids just melt into their parents arms. I am not afraid of looking like a fool to get kids to smile. At the end of most sessions I am a bit winded, but I am a firm believer in always staying a “student” and trying new things. \

What kind of photography describes me?

* A Lifestyle Photographer - Surreal, Candid, Documentary, & Cinimatic

A lifestyle photographer captures all moments of people in everyday settings. The goal is to portray a sense of real-life emotion, movement, and connection, often with an emphasis on natural light, candid moments, and storytelling! Lifestyle photography can include things like family, personal milestones (birthdays, engagements, etc.), travel adventures, or simply people doing daily activities in their daily routines. The key however, is that it often looks more "unposed" and relaxed compared to traditional portrait photography!!

All four words—surreal, candid, documentary, and cinematic—are related to visual storytelling and artistic expression. They describe different approaches to capturing and presenting moments. Each term influences how a story or scene is perceived, shaping emotions, authenticity, and artistic intent. While some focus on realism (candid, documentary), others emphasize artistry and stylization (surreal, cinematic), but they all contribute to how audiences engage with and interpret visual narratives. And the best part about all these words? I intertwine them all together when I capture your moments.

Getting to know me more...

I began my photography business in September of 2021. BEST. DECISION. EVER.

I started doing photography within 3 months of me filing for divorce. It was a very difficult decision for me to make and especially hard, thinking about how I would financially keep myself and my son stable.

It was a mental battle. I didn’t think I was good enough to begin a business on my own.
I didn’t think I could be a single mom and still be loved by God after tearing my family apart. I didn’t think I’d ever find love. I had no college degree in business ownership, website design, and more importantly, knowing where to begin when it came to photography. Who knew, that in 3 short years, I’d be successful enough to be a “stay at home” mama, be so booked that I need to turn down other job offers, and that I’d now be married to my better half! And even better, that I am still doing what I absolutely love doing!

I am overjoyed, flattered, and emotional thinking about all the support, love, and reassurance I have received from many people, including my close family who have been there every step of the way and have loved me through all my decisions no matter what they were. Being able to take a look at my past, shows me that even when it’s hard and you just want to give up, don’t. Keep going. It will be worth it!

OKAY, enough of the sappy stuff!!!.....

I have photographed over 200 weddings, captured babies being born, proposals, and lots of laughs and even tears. One of the first things you'll notice about me is that I am SHORT, but I'm not afraid to stand on a chair on lay on the ground, for the perfect angle! I've always been more of an organized & detail oriented person (to the point of having different colored highlighters for different lists for other lists, LOL) I am a follower of Jesus and have been a woman of God since I was young! My husband and I found our way to each other, via Snapchat LOL but our love story is very eventful. We also have a gentle and kindhearted little boy who has a huge personality! I grew up in the country, and in my opinion, the best location to grow up in! There is just something about riding horses, racing dirt bikes, and being surrounded by nature, that makes you feel alive!

I love working with all types of couples & families, because it's not just about getting to know new people, or experience things they enjoy but wholeheartedly, end up becoming a friend and someone they can trust. It's not just being their photographer; it's the extra steps to get to TRULY know them. I believe in capturing natural candid moments that tell your story without using words.
